The table sets the same fields side by side for every school selected: school type, district and address, the Abitur average with pass rate and number of candidates, whether the school was oversubscribed and its demand ratio, the first foreign language and the further languages on offer, the form of full-day programme, and the school website. The Abitur and demand rows carry the year their values are from.

The Abitur figures come from the open data of the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, most recently for the 2025 cohort. Berlin publishes no average for cohorts of fewer than 16 candidates; the table shows a dash there. The enrolment figures come from the Berlin parliament papers, most recently for the 2026/27 school year.

For community schools the demand ratio is formed differently than for Gymnasien and ISS: Berlin counts only the applications from outside there, while the places also cover the transfer out of a school's own primary years. A community school set beside a Gymnasium therefore puts two differently defined ratios side by side.
